Love as a word and a feeling

Love as a word is tossed around too freely
Love as an action is showing people they're important enough
For you to take the first risk, by opening up knowing
You could end up getting rejected
But sharing this act of kindness that some may only rarely see
That my friend is why love really isn't a word
But a feeling that's been put into action
