Christmas this year here will be brown.

As you may already know I talk about the weather a lot, many folks in Minnesota do. Last year we had so much snow, this year we've had more rain then snow. With above normal temperatures it's keeping the heating cost down, after the cooling season that was much higher than I've seen before, it's helping the household budget to catch up. The snow lovers here are unhappy, earlier this week we had .34 inches of rain, that would have been 3~4 inches of snow, meaning the ski resorts are ice but are again making snow, I'll admit I like snow at ski resorts more then on the roads and sidewalks makes getting from point A to B and back again much easier. Mother nature I think maybe taking some of the same drugs that I am, or maybe shes having some fun with Mr. Frost. Yes I do know it about climate change, being it's so close to Christmas just want to give a lighter spin, for a short time. Now that it's gotten colder the birds are coming back to the bird feeder again and the three baby squirrels are getting a thicker coat of fur and are filling out nicely, I'm almost sure they'll make it through the rest of the winter. As for the brown, I don't mind it's nice being able to get out this time of year. The snow will come sooner or later, it always does just taking each day as it comes.

Same here. The new Christmas colours are soggy green and muddy brown. I love snow, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Even a light dusting Christmas eve will do!

Ya know Mary I finally got a job after basically being out of work since the first week of Oct 2009. Whew and to think I only had 2 weeks left of that loooooong unenjoyment as I have never been on before and i applied for 10 jobs minimum a week. Anyways yeah this no snow shit sucks. I hate it, it must be white by Christman. They say maybe next Tursday we may get some. But then that damn Auntie Alice shit kicks in or my OCD cause when the snow gets dirty I pray for snow so it looks clean. Lol. And ya know I bet I've said 15 times this year that ya know, when I was a kid and we'd go to Auntie Adele's for Thanksgiving there was ALWAYS snow on the ground cause I remember the pop used to be in the snow between the steps and the house at 2932. And this Mayan calandra shit about the world ending Dec 21 next year, I say hogwash even as they say it's the last entry on the Mayan calendar and the reason I say is cause whoever was chiseling away just up and freekin died. I do believe in them sun bursts or whatever they are. As you can tell my new Job has me at idle as I work for a Co. Out of California and I'm then only employee in this state until hopefully they grow as they are. And ya know I'm sure it looks like one hell of a long run on sentence but I don't give a poop. I hope all is myy my blood cuz and take care and thanks for being here for us.

Love, your younger dumbass cousin, Jay

My dear cousin, Yes there was always ice between the house and the step, that spot did not get any sun, we would chop it up to keep things cold. Your Auntie Adele knew a trick or more she rarely forgot any thing worthwhile. I love you too Jay! Your not a dumb-ass you can't be your half Kjenaas. So don't be so hard on yourself, Merry Christmas Love you, Mary
